Maybe, but I like to look at these ratings when no Sydney team playing as I think this gives a good measure of how the sport is doing in Sydney and Brisbane. I think the rating from Friday night as pretty good.

if either of the NRL finals gets to 39K in Melb ( similar size city to Sydney ) with no storm playing
we will say the NRL is doing as well down there then ?

The Storm should get very good Melbourne numbers for that one. However unfortunately they are so good it's becoming boring and repetitive. I started channel surfing after 20 minutes last night. Their domination is turning off not just casual fans but hard core ones. The only hope left for stellar ratings is if Parra or Souths can get on a roll. Can't see it happening though!!!!

As a storm follower it was a great game. Storm just simply smashed Manly. Didn’t allow Manly to turn up… nullified their superstar … whatshisname….. lol

and if your a neutral supporter, this was far from the contest you wanted to watch..
i gave up at half time.

As a storm follower … it was a great game. Storm dominated from start. Didn’t allow Manly to get going. That’s what champions team do.
