Seems nlol doesn’t want to acknowledge this side of things at all and would prefer to support Rendell who claimed later on he didn’t say it.
It’s damning that rendell stood down, absolutely damning. Anyone with half a brain knows that an innocent man would be far, far far less likely to leave their job when wrongly accused.
So yep let’s all agree there was no written policy but it was definitely practised
In the absence of evidence we are left with he said she said.
Supporting Rendell's story is there's no evidence the crows were recruiting in the manner suggested. There's also the point that he clarified his comments later, and he discussed his point of view openly with an Indigenous person who was also an AFL official. It makes no sense for him to jeopardise his role by doing this when he valued his continued employment.
