I haven't had the time or inclination but sure, if nrl (home and away and finals) gets on average per game more viewers than the AFL home and away and finals then sure happy to agree. Comparing the nrl comp to the AFL comp that is. It is very straight forward. very! Add up the ratings of both codes. Despite less matches the Rugby league wins by over 6 million. And that's without ratings from the NZ Warriors .

Womens footy doesnt appear to have added, rather its cannibalised the preseason game, and the total ratings are probably similar at the cost of average ratings per game.

The only real comparable game is Friday because both codes have a single game on FTA and Fox, and both in prime time. How are you not getting this??

The match is played at the MCG minus your bottom sides. they are not permitted in this timeslot - Last year 4 last I think it was 5 the year before - about 25% ie. its your match of the round. That is not the case with the NRL there match of the round is Friday/Thursday or even Wednesday.

Further to that you showed the Broncos, your only mega club, more than the AFL showed any team. And no I'm not cherry picking games, these are 24 weeks in a row, not just one every now and then. The Friday night comparison shows the audiences for both codes, not how many times the scheduling allows that audience to tune in to a game. The figures dont lie.
