Down about 10% on last year - that could be the AFL's new advertising slogan.

Fri STV #NRL #FoxLeague #NRLBulldogsSouths 241k (Metro 174k – Syd 104k Mel 20k Bri 46k Ade 1k Per 5k)
Fri TV #NRL Nine/9Gem #NRLBulldogsSouths 471k (Metro 296k Regional 175k)
= 712k for the NRL on good Frida afternoon

Fri STV #NRL #FoxFooty #aflnorthdogs 255k (Metro 198k – Syd 17k Mel 118k Bri 10k Ade 21k Per 33k)
Fri TV #AFL #aflnorthdogs Seven 482k (Mel 313k Ade 83k Per 86k) No 7mate yet
= 737k without regionals or 7mate. With both of those we are looking at around 900k

So another comprehensive win to the AFL making the direct comparison 5 - 1 in the AFL's favour

Should be a good chance for the NRL to get a win tomorrow night. We have the Blues v power, a very uninspiring match which will probably be a massive blowout.

Can the NRL make it 2 - 5? They sure need it

This isn't the AFL. We don't have a second set of post for people that try hard.

Rugby league rates better on TV! That's just a fact.

Fri TV #AFL #AFLPowerBlues Seven 431k (Mel 292k Ade 139k) 7mate 93k (Syd 16k Bri 17k Per 60k) = 524k

Fri TV #NRL #NRLSouthsBroncos Nine 432k (Syd 217k Bri 214k)

So with regionals and Ptv the AFL is looking at around 900k and the NRL around the same

LMAO if the AFL win this. Last night was the worst, most one sided FN game for ages. AFL fans were complaining everywhere on social media and forums http://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/AFL/t ... 28185cf57c

Meanwhile the NRL had the Broncos v bunnies in a close finish. My god NRL, if you dont get the chocolates for this match up you may as well pack up and go home

Anyway, based on the fox and regional ratings the NRL won last night's comparison.

That makes it 5-2 to the AFL
