How long is AFL going to keep flogging this team to two totally different cities?
Maybe they should call themselves CWS Canberra Western Sydney. Seems like Canberra is getting a raw deal without their city in the title.

Great effort for the western fumblers to get to 16,312 member.....well done!!!!! But the first beautiful sunny Saturday in ol' Sydney town for 5 weeks and it looks like 16,000 of the faithful decided to stay away today ........lololololololol. Fumblehouse lies so often about numbers you've really gotta question that members figure.
I wonder what they'll post for the crowd. If they've got the female fumblers crowd counter it'll be........let me see.....multiply by 6......double it.....add two zeros.......yeah....about 10,000.....lolololololol.

Dont some NRL clubs have over 20k members? How many 20k+ crowds have we seen in Sydney this year?

And the Wanderers 1 year younger than the GWS have just reached 20,000 members, with memberships based in Europe, the US, Hong Kong and Saudi Arabia.

That's a great effort by the soccer to get those numbers. I believe the area had a strong soccer following to begin with and it was right to target this region/area. For totally different reasons the AFL had to tackle this area .... Aussie rules and AFL would appear virtually nonexistent there and it was imperative they tackled this market just as they did Sydney so many years ago. We will have to wait and see how this plays out. What does seem obvious is that apart from some small pockets ru has been the big loser.

Whats was with those jerseys. Look like a blatant rippoff of the Titans. AFL seem to love copying their nearest NRL teams colours with expansion teams.
