it's hilarious that something claimed as a gimmick smashes anything in the fumble world .
Suffer .
Our gimmick is bigger than your GF .
Lol
Lol lol .
& guess what .
We have another coming up in 3 weeks that will have you fumblers sobbing. Stamping your feet & crying GIMMICK GIMMICK .
Same script every year
It just never loses its comedy appeal
Not as amusing as you people insisting that we are crying over something that you guys HAVE to have in order to get close to going over the AFL for ratings. Pat yourselves on the back for 91,000 truly. Crowds in excess of 80,000 arent unusual for the AFL - crossed that mark four times already this year. Not to mention the cricket, and upcoming soccer events. But hey, its a sporting revolution right?
We go pretty close to selling out if not sold out Wembley and Old Trafford out each year too tho and Sydney for these such games and games of their equivalence.
Had around 50k in NZ and Bris close too in France although not recent, As a small sport, RL does alright and as I posted earlier, PNG are trying to kick the NRL's door down (literally and good luck to them) o give them a franchise.
I haven't said you guys are crying but damn when you read the tripe on Foxsports about an AFL fans thought on the game, you can see it has to have hit some spot.

In round 23 2012, Mahe Fonua became the first Victorian-born and bred player to play in the NRL when he made his debut for Melbourne Storm. He played his junior career for South East Titans (formerly Berwick Bulldogs) in the Victorian Rugby League.[44][45]
great effort pissy cat, all those random made up numbers from the NRLOL is proven fudged once again!
1 player in over 100 years to play NRLOL

I would agree because Swans fans don't like ANZ - but 48 definitely within reach!

I think he's talking about the double header when ANZ opened - that was the crowd for 4 clubs at the one venue on the same day - and it wasn't 104k all day the crowd ebbed and flowed. But that is the record he's talking about

that was when the numpties NRLOL fans had never seen a stadium that big and the hype of the olympics was building. they eventually downsized ANZ stadium due to the NRLOL inability to sell its GF out

It was 107,000 that day and when Parramatta played St George Illawarra in the second game, the place looked packed to the rafters.
Having over 90,000 in Melbourne means Rugby League has had crowds of 90,000 upwards at 4 different venues. Melbourne Cricket ground, Stadium Australia, Wemblely Stadium and Bradford. Pity the Melbourne crowd didn't get another 8,500, would had put them up there with the other 3 places to have had a crowd over 100,000 at a Rugby League match.
