I was just wondering
Is there any sport that requires the home team to be full of home town players .
I thought in this modern age( Google that ) sport is a big business & players go where the $$ are .
I've asked this before & it was ignored as it destroyed this stupid argument
Is every GWS player from WS?.lol
Is every Swans player from SYD ..lol
What about the Gc or the lions .
You seem to think it's a requirement for RL teams but ignore it when it comes to AFL teams .
When you answer that it mite highlight your stupidity .

I think as Leroy said ... you can’t just plonk a team in a city and say it is national.
The fact very few players come up through junior Rl through in Victoria to play at the nrl level is an indication of the work that needs to be done by the nrl. They need to grow grassroots. I think they are doing better at this now but they have wasted a lot of time. Compare grassroots in Victoria for Rl to grassroots to Australian rules in nsw.... even Sydney and surrounds.

given the fact how long the storm and the NRLOL has been around for
there has been like 1 or 2 players from victoria at (least based) to have ever played for the storm and something like 5 or 6 in the history of the NRLOL
when you compare to the dozens that are currently on the lists of current AFL clubs and several on the lists of GCS, GWS,Swans and lions
the storms and NRLOL's efforts are just straight out usual pathetic
