Sounds about right for so called AFL sellouts.

meanwhile, RL sells out Old Trafford with actual PAYING customers last year. 75k of them IIRC. and another 90k over 2 days for a preseason tournie in NZ. And dont even get started on the islands. Fiji, PNG etc.

hell, RL got 10k to a USA vs Canada game either in 2013 or 2012. Cant remember. Not paying though, much like this preseason bs in england.

the usual thing will happen as the SOO winds, the interest in the NRL goes from a few to almost zero, so the usual crowd drop off is only starting

Really the NRL comp is now just a supporting act to SOO rather than being a piece of the NRL calendar it is fast becoming the ONLY competition that counts!
