Izzy and Folau have had no problems with the ''pace'' of the game at all. They'd be up there with or indeed the fastest players on their respective teams. They had to lose weight because, as I highlighted earlier, marngrook is a more endurance based sport, played on a far greater field with much more continuous trotting over greater distances required. Hence losing weight, strength, power, speed, aggression, agility and other attributes commonly associated with supreme athletes was necessary for izzy and folau. Yet even after their weight, power, strength, speed, agility loss they were still touted as "supreme athletes'' by AFL commentator after AFL commentator and AFL expert after AFL expert.

Was quite astounding and telling just how many in the AFL community blew their load over two above avg NRL players. Quite telling indeed don't you think adam? :>::

Everyone know RL players were only recruited by A fl teams for promotional purposes. Both proved average at best despite being stars of RL.

Other than that can anyone name one player the AFL are desperate to recruit?

I think there are way more AFL players successfully kicking in the NFL

So lets get this straight using Xman's description. As athletes NRL stars can make avg professional MArngrook players and exceptional RU players. And lots not forget they'd probably make great NFL players too. AFL players could never make the cut to be a NRL player, nor a pro union player nor a pro soccer player, BUT, they can spend about 3 mins a season as a, wait for it, kicker in the NFL :_<> :_<> :_<> :_<> :_<> :_<> Thanks for clearing this up Xman. I officially call this thread done and dusted. NRL players are by far and away the most supreme athletes of all the aussie footy codes. :D

so these almighty athletes from the NRL struggle in the AFL, just because they are quick, in the NRL it does not mean jack shit in the AFL. isreal struggled onfield in all areas including even struggling to kick the ball.
Johns spoke out on Triple M radio about Folau's treatment in AFL and encouraged the Giant to come home to rugby league.
