Firstly, the whole lap dog thing is a bit tiresome and likely reflects more poorly on those using such school yard teasing tactics ... But I digress.


The fact that there is even a league of AFL at such a standard on nrl heartland is pretty good I think. There is also string junior numbers on Gold Coast at least and growing. Remember, this is an expansion market that has a high level tier of Aussie rules football. The nrl would love to have the game played across non heartland areas at the level that Aussie rules is played.

As it is nrl has minimal presence outside these areas .. With nt being the exception.
