For me, I'll put out some 2013 numbers. you can use numbers from wherever the fuck you want. 7.3k to USA vs Canada (NOT an exhibition match, so dont come in with swans vs geelong or something) and SO FAR 180k to the RLWC 2013. We are at exactly the halfway point, but obviously crowds will rise dramatically with the Wembley game and 70k+ at old trafford. Plus theres several 20-30k venues that should sell out in the quarter finals.

Also, might chuck in some 30k figures for NZ.

but players can be made up as was done in RSA and are very hard to verify.

I doubt you could get stats on players in 90% of the countries AFL is supposedly 'played' in. let alone actually verify the BS the AFL comes out with. "a PE class played AFL once? well participation just went up 1000 for the whole school"
