Hey KE, how come the Swans are more popular than every NSW nRL team?
hmmmmmm
40K watched them on TV in Sydney .............40K , for a derby .... for the battle of the buttplugs or whateva fucking stupid name its got
meanwhile our smallest team in Sydney , penrith ... attracted 250K on Sunday for a woefully unattractive game against the Titans
the swines are LAST
dead last
for support in Sydney you cock molesting minda ..

"Dead last" but have lead the way for crowd support and memberships for 18 years straight. You sad inbred ****** Dave
The Swans dominating support in Sydney really is a sensitive issue for the nRL bogans.

Crowd support and memberships.
Lets see. The swannies have an avg of 27 odd k? About half or more of those are folk really dont give two stuffs about the game itself, they actually dont know the rules and have never kicked a sherrin

Seriously folks, this is the situation and it is clearly highlighted by the ridiculously low number of television viewers in Sydney i.e diddly squat. If there was real passion for the game in this city people would watch the game week in week out, when they were unable to get to the game. Fact is they dont. No, for most sydneysiders the game is a spectacle, an oddity, something to 'go and see' like when the circus is in town, something different to do, something they may have never seen before... ... something to smugly tell the folk in the office of a monday morn. This also goes for the memberships, we're in a very wealth dominated city where folk living near the scg have momre money than they can poke a stick at, they're literally wasting it on their memberships i.e. picture the office kitchen on a sunny February morn when Digby, the office manager, is busying himself getting coffee as Rod, a younger fitter sportier lad, walks in. "Hi Digby, how's it going?" "Oh good Rod, I'm well... (awkward silence as Rod fidgets in the cupboards looking for his mandarin before walking toward the exit door) ... ...Oh and Rod?" "Ah yes digby?" "I was online this morn, I got 2 gold swans memberships for myself and Prudence :D " "Awesome mate, you'll be able to see goodes in action!" "Hahah yes Rod, it'll be good for sure"...(awkward small silence) "Ah no I meant goodes, the player Digby" ... ... "There's a player who's name is 'goodes'? Ha that's cool. Seeya in the meeting later Rod"
But on a more positive note. I do believe it is growing slowly in this city. The Chardonnay sippers children are sometimes sent out to auskick...but without any real passion shown by these youngsters parents many of these youngsters will simply drop out, if that is their folks havent already pulled them out to put them into yoga classes instead.
I give it three+ generations before Sydneysiders show the support Xman, stewie and co actually believe there is now. Such is their ignorance, we must laugh
