That third of the competition would go to RU. Or retire because they can't play in the boots that suit them best.

Just accept that you don't understand, X.
Oh deary deary me.

33% of RL players cannot move to RU unless there is a position for this number of players

The players can wear Nike even if they are not sponsors of the broncos.
NIKE WON'T LET THEM!!!!!!

F off. You're not listening at all and don't care about the f---ing truth,

im sorry, i just do not believe Nike would pull their products from players if the Broncos declined their sponsorship. Why would they? Sponsorship of a team and of players are two different things. Its like saying Titleist would take their sponsorship away from AAustralian golfers if they werent accepted as a major sponsor of the Australian PGA tour.

Plus there is no way 200 players would walk from RL to RU if they couldnt wear Nike. Which league can afford an extra 200 players?

Neither do you I'd suggest.

Anyway, maybe you NRl fans will think twice before taking pot shots at the AFL, despite cutting Sherrin, when your own sport has sold its testicles to Nike... [-X

For the last time;

1. The players need the Nike boots because they are the best
2. Nike will force them off their feet if the Broncos (or anyone else) won't allow them to be a major sponsor
3. All players who wear Nike boots instantly can't play league unless the club they play for is sponsored by Nike

Simply - THEY HAVE NO CHOICE!!

Nike are a pack of Nazis who control the boot supply to 33 percent (I think) of the entire league playing roster. No sponsorship, no boots and no boots no 33 percent playing base.

The only way we can get out of it is if Gillard and Co bans all products created by child labour.

So if Nike are UNDENIABLE the clear best footwear available, and no other foot ware will satisfy the RL community, why the fukk do they only have 33% of the market? :-k

That means 67% are perfectly happy playing with other brands!!!!

If Nike were asked not to sponsor the broncos they would never pull their products from players because that would be a marketing disaster.

If they did pulled they products from players the players would never leave the NRL because its their income and there are not 200 other ready made professional RL positions (or RU) out there for them to go to. It would be professional suicide over footwear!

If they did lose Nike they could do what 67% of the other NRL players do AND CHOSE ANOTHER BRAND WHICH THEY ALL SEEM PERFECTLY HAPPY WITH!!!

NRL, morally bankrupt! [-X

Dear oh my what on Earth has happened to this thread! Striker, Xman, the pair of you need to be bitch slapped and shut it. You've both dragged this thread way off topic. [-X

The fact of the matter is both codes are guilty when it comes to endorsing/promoting organisations which have been built on pillaging the resources of the poor. Only one of the codes is guilty when it comes to having its game ball, the epicentre of the entire code, produced by child slave labour in India. And the AFL - all the while blind to it until a poor melbourne 10 year old boy is pricked by a stray needle. [-X Dear oh dear oh me, what a disgrace!

And the AFL acted swiftly when the information about sherrin came to light. While the nRL continue to use and endorse Nike!

Horrible horrible sport full of morally bankrupt people. [-X

yet the AFL acted swiftly and harshly. The NRL continue to endorse sweat shop manufacturing by promoting Nike.

Amazing you have the nerve to continue to post in here! [-X [-X

The AFL also endorse Nike, as do numerous sports and their players dumbo. The AFL are unique though in that sherrin, the ball, the very epicentre of the code, was developed by children under slave labour conditions for years....and the only reason the AFL took action or showed an awareness of what was going on was AFTER the media produced a story on a young 10 year old melbourne boy who got pricked by a stray needle in a sherrin ball.

For shame for shame! [-X

I really dont think I've ever heard of another professional sporting org letting something so horrible happen. [-X The 'official' ball of the AFL, watched by millions, kicked by the pros and the amateurs alike, sailing through post after post, year in year out, while all the while being developed by children in india being whipped and not paid...harsh stuff [-X
