How long is it going to be until a ******** in the crowd shining a laser in a player’s eyes costs a team a match or even worse a place in the finals at the important end of the season?. Or if caught ban them for life from attending any sporting event across the board.

Nice one Mark. A laser beam

There we have it, the players think it's a serious matter of bad crowd behavior yet Xman thinks it's all a joke. That says something doesn't it?
calling it a laser pointer rather than a laser beam would have been more correct but it is AFL players we are talking about and nobody said they had to do too much more than kick and catch and have to know the difference between the two

Yes a good pickup there Mark. Sums up the character of our Xman quite nicely. What matters to the AFL or its players or its fans doesnt matter to him if it in any way brings down the moral standing of organisation. He's happy to ignore the most abhorrent acts in regards to this. What a chump.

MarkZZZ wrote:You stated it as fact. You didn't say "in my opinion." To paraphrase "it was worse than the battle of windy hill". BS claim still stands.
No proof = BS
Problem is its a subjective term where as eelsofwest gave specific quantifiable figures. How does one "prove" a fight wass worse than another?
However, I agree TLPG needs to find proof of the incident.

It was probably some kid playing the fool. Unnecessary but hardly a concern.

Nice cover Xman. Just as I predicted
A fight can be measured to be worse than another on several variables. two simple and quantifiable measures would be.
1: number of participants
2. number of injuries
TLPG must prove his claim and provide a link or be issued with a BS point. But you wouldnt do that now would you Xman

And here it is again. A player is concerned this might swing a match one day and Xman, in full view, sweeps it under the carpet as "hardly a concern".

The sweeping dingbat strikes once more.
Now sweep TLPGs BS where the sun dont shine Xman!

Dont be a fool. No one has data on the number of injured, number of participants, numbers of punches thrown etc etc.
The comment was clearly an opinion. However, as I said, proof of the incident is still required.

No one swept anything. I was at the game. The match weent without a hitch. The players reported the issue and it was dealt with. Nothing like this has happened again. If you think this is serious I feel sorry for you.

Ahh on reading of the battle of windy hill there's plenty of data on numbers of participants and injuries.

I agree with the players, it's a serious issue. We know you dont give two hoots what the players think Xman. That's just you, you're an armchair expert with little awareness of what the players experience.
Go on now, sweep that bad stuff away.

Whats there to sweep? it was an isolated incident and was reported in the media. There have been no similar incidents since. It didnt hurt anyone. It didnt influence the game.

To compare the two incidents you need information from both.

It was clearly an opinion. Seriously, how does one judge which fight is worse?
