the NRL was down by a minscule 0.8% in 2011 despite one of the wettest winters in memory , the NRL WILL break all attendance records in 2012 .. an average over 17,000 for H&A games .. & over 18,000 after finals

meanwhile
the VFL was down 10% in 2011 on 2010

watch it go down by another 10% in 2012 :wink:

Hmmm not sure about the VFL :-k

The AFL had the most people EVER attend a single season. Watch this increase again this year! :D

Compare like for like. The NRL always start well ( for them ) but die in the arse around SOO time! Comparatively this is their worst first quarter of the season in 6 years, and possibly ever.
