The only time they were seriously looking at establishing themselves was in Sydney. They have been Melbourne based since James Brayshaw took over and he has made it clear that they are staying in Melbourne.ParraEelsNRL wrote:LOL, the not real Nth Kangawhos have relocated and failed more times in different areas than the removed expansion sides in the ARL have lost, fact.
RL
Perth Reds
Adelaide Rams (don't count as they were a SL team made up to get a comp off the ground)
SE QLD Crushers.
Not Real Nth Kangawhos
Melbourne Multiple times lol.
West Sydney
Canberra
Gold Coast
And soon the be Tasmania and Ballarat.
Actually the ROOS have never committed to anywhere other than Melbourne.NSWAFL wrote:The only time they were seriously looking at establishing themselves was in Sydney. They have been Melbourne based since James Brayshaw took over and he has made it clear that they are staying in Melbourne.
Must confess I've long been a critic of the Roos, but I'm in agreement with you that the Ballarat/Bendigo proposal may just be what is required to secure their long term future. Good luck Roos.cos789 wrote:Actually the ROOS have never committed to anywhere other than Melbourne.NSWAFL wrote:The only time they were seriously looking at establishing themselves was in Sydney. IMO they'd been more open to re-locating something might have eventuated but they didn't.
Pretty pathetic attempt parafeel to suggest that the Roos are some sort expansion failure.
They haven't moved anywhere yet.
The Ballarat/Bendigo thing IMO is a winner, being just North of Melbourne.
It's the first time the Roos have said that they would like to move somewhere instead of just playing games somewhere.Beaussie wrote:Must confess I've long been a critic of the Roos, but I'm in agreement with you that the Ballarat/Bendigo proposal may just be what is required to secure their long term future. That's the big question. They have stalled in spite of having top players and top results.Beaussie wrote:If only the Melbourne Storm's future was as secure. Take away the News Ltd handouts and what's left?
Nah I think the Bears will reform and play at Blue Tongue first. In the end I think it will be......Beaussie wrote:If only the Melbourne Storm's future was as secure. Take away the News Ltd handouts and what's left? A move the the Central Coast perhaps.
They could play the Perth Reds in the Clayton's Cup.Beaussie wrote:In anycase, the Storm will be playing anywhere but Melbourne.![]()
