you dope. It's like arguing with a senile farm animal!

I never claimed the AFL was as popular as RL in QLD. I said the AFL's ratings in Brisbane were much better than the Storm in Melbourne.

To prove this I showed that the Lions and Suns rate 70k - 110k in Brisbane despite often being shown against payTV. I said that this compared well to many RL games in Brisbane, which rate between 90k and 200k, with no Foxtel RL on at the same time.

Youre the idiot who thought I was comparing the Lions ratings to the Broncos.

Try keeping up! Concentrate!
I said the AFL's ratings in Brisbane were much better than the Storm in Melbourne[/b]
YOU SAID......... the Lions & Suns ratings were NOT FAR OFF ..... NOT FAR OFF ..
the non QLD NRL ratings in Brissie
did you not ?

in what demented ... moronic .... ******* delusional world
are those AFL figures

NOT FAR OFF .. the NRL ones ?

you are a squirming little worm .. who can't keep track of the utter BS he is posting
the Storms average in melbourne on FTA in 2011 was 85K a game

higher then the Swans .. the Lions ... the Suns
& it'll be 4 times GWS

K
Yet Brisbane is half the size of Melbourne, the lions and suns were bottom, storm top, and the AFL is against Foxtel, NRL not.

Buzzinga! :D

AFL is not on against foxtel at all
if the Lions .. swans or thuns ... are on FTA... thats all they're on in that market wombat

the Storm aren't on regularly on TV
to get 85K on average ... when no one knows from one week to the next if they'll be on before 2am in Melb.. is a great result
& vastly superior to the embarrasing results the Lions .. & Thuns .. on in prime time .. every week get in their Markets , wether its half the size of another .. or not

buzzinga

Yet another thread that the rl folk have resorted to ratings talk.

What a mob of born losers.

There is a ratings thread you know.

Wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong!! Foxtel show the lions and swans regularly. FTA for these games is only on in northern states. A different game is on in the southern states. Therefore Qld and NSW get the same game on both.

The storm didn't average 85k for home and away games. They got 37k for one! Not even close to 80k! LOL. Not on payTV either. Melbourne are 4million. Storm are top of the ladder.

Now that's some crap ratings! But is suppose it goes with their crap attendances too.

not against the same game

who said H&A
the Swans played Finals ...still only averaged 55K ... in a city of nearly 5 Million

Wrong. The swans and lions are on payTV regularly. Check the table of ratings on this forum. Pay tv only get the option of a few games therefore they can't just chose any game they want. More often than not QLD and nsw therefore get the lions and swans on both payTV and FTA. This has been happening for years! If QLD get the lions on FTA and the only payTV game is the lions who else are they going to show??? There's no other game they can show!

As if you can average the storms 3home and away games plus 2 finals and compare that to the swans full season of home and away games. Interesting how you've jumped off comparing to the lions, who despite being bottom of the ladder, probably had a higher FTA average than the storm for home and away games, despite half the population in bris and the same game being on payTV.

wot kind of a ninconpoop are you ? #-o

its called a schedule .... they don't clash
why the hell would they ?

heres a tip
the markets that don't have any FTA ratings are watching the pay game .... while another game is on FTA ... not the same friggin game you goose

if its the only game on pay ... you get locked out
& why wouldn't you ... why would 10/7 pay what they did for games .. only to allow Foxtel to cover one of their games
that " special" arrangement starts ... this year

you are a nutter
& again ... proven to have absolutely no idea what your talking about

You fool. The AFL and networks have arranged the schedules so the lions suns and swans are on FTA in northern states for all their games. PLUS the same game is shown on payTV for southern markets so the fans in these states can see their team play against the lions suns and swans.

Well, foxtel have limited options. They don't just show a different game to northern states and southern states. They have the one game which is the suns, lions and swans game. This game gets shown to all Australian markets. For the northern states this means it's on fox and FTA!

Have a look at the table on this forum. It shows the games that were on fox. It shows the games that were exclusive on FTA to northern states. This shows which games were on FTA and fox for northern states, which was often the same game showing the lions suns and swans.

Even the other dopes on LU know this. What's your problem??
