like v like shows popularity. Accumulation totals show every other factor such as number of shows etc
SOOK!!!!!!!!!!!!
crying-cute-baby-image-collections (12).jpg
I've addressed the cumulative ratings, how about you explain why all 9 AFL finals outrated the NRL equivalent
Geez crybaby how many times does this have to be addressed. We're now comparing which sport had the most TV viewers and crowds, when combined, in 2017 in total. The unequivocal answer is Rugby League. It clearly means it is the most watched sport in Australia for 2017.
You can celebrate your odd win here and there but at the end of the day Rugby League is winner.
Now for gods sake climp back into the cradle, put the dummy back in, and have a rest over summer.
There is nothing worse than a bad, bad LOSER!!!!

The most popular sport on tv isn't decided by a four week finals count .
It's all year .
Who tunes in over & over for the whole season .
RL wins that easily .
A horse race isn't decided by comapsring which horse did what over the first 400
Or the middle
Or which horse was the fastest over the last 400
How hard is it to understand .
You had a good finals series
Well done
We had more viewers all year by a long way
So go on you can say it
Which way is easiest .
Most popular sport on tv ..RL
NO 1 viewing sport in Aust ..RL
Most ratings for the year..RL.
They all mean the same
RUGBY LEAGUE
GOLD GOLD GOLD
No1
No1
No1

no, YOU'RE now comparing it, not me. Personally I couldnt give a shit about some meaningless tally
The unequivocal answer is Rugby League. It clearly means it is the most watched sport in Australia for 2017.
Even that is up for debate. 6 hours of RL is counted as 3 game ratings, while 6 hours of AFL gives only 2 game ratings. This makes the NRL look ahead but doesnt show that they were both equally watched
You can celebrate your odd win here and there but at the end of the day Rugby League is winner.
26-4 for H&A games, and 9-0 for finals is hardly an odd win

you've used this shit example before. There are no awards for the first to 100m, 200m etc. Yet the networks are rewarded for winning single ratings periods. You dont think Ch7 cared they beat ch9 for 20 of 24 Friday nights? You dont think they'd be thrilled their winning ratings went for 50% longer than ch9's?
This BS about most watched for the year ignores the fact the AFL goes for 50% longer than the NRL. So out of a single NRL match rating 1m v a single AFL game rating 1m, which was the most watched sport?

funny how neither of you answered my question.
Here's another: If the melbourne cup rated 1m today over 5 minutes, and the cricket 1m over 6 hours, which is more watched?

Lol
We are comparing two football codes over a season
Both Over half a year .
Not a three minute race to a 6 hr game .

the question is entirely relevant because one game goes for 50% longer, which drastically effects the cumulative ratings
