The AFL GF was down 360k metro on last year!!!! Wow!!!!! No one saw that coming. Was the blow out scorelines and hopeless standard of play the problem fumblers???

It looks like the hundreds of million fumblehouse has thrown at Sydney is all in vain. The AFL got 991k Sydney viewers way back in 2005 when the Swans won. This year they got 376k. That's a drop of over 600k!!!!!!

Please discuss.

the swans played in 2005, and at the time hadnt won a GF in 50 odd years. 360k less than last year says more about the astounding ratings last year's GF got. This year was pretty standard

it was a single grand final you clown  They vary year on year depending on who plays and how close the game is

The NRL's ratings have been down for the entire year.

Even you should be smart enough to know the difference

you're clueless. The NRL just got outrated in every final this year. That's a selection of 8 finals, not one. Add to that, with the way Sydney has rated for the NRL this year, you'll need a nail biter to win this final too

Why do you think this year rated less than last year Terry?

Do you think having no Sydney team in made a difference?

Do you think no bulldogs team, the sentimental favourite, made a difference?

Do you think a one-sided game made a difference?

What are your thoughts?
Having said that, the game rated about the same as most other GF's recently. last year was exceptional though

I've go no idea why you fumblers had 500k fans abandon the GF this year. I am actually amazed that anyone watches the mess at all LOlololololololololololol.

I turned it over for about 90 seconds and counted 10 fumbles, 4 dropped marks and 3 goals missed from right in front. That's 90 precious seconds I'll never get back Lololololollolololol.

so you have NFI, fair enough.

Pretty simple though. This year rated similarly to many previous GF's, but less than some too. Last year was a higher rating GF due to the swans playing, the sentimental favourite Dogs playing, and a closer contest to the end. This year didnt have those factors. If you've got another reason please enlighten us

The only factor I can come up with is the game in general is a pathetic rabbling mess.

The ball bounces around like in a game of pinball. It's more goodluck than good management.

The fumble is king!!!
