Fact is the AFL beat the NRl as published last year. No amount of butting will stop that. And that doesn't even take into account the fact the AFL is shown for 50% longer, making it clearly the most watched sport in Australia.

And as Pies said, the AFL's ratings from other platforms such as Xbox, phones and tablets are not included either.

Did you read it properly. It was 113 + Soo ect so it probably is 134 million, its not enough to get in front of AFL though IMO. AFL is at least 133 million + Tbox+phones and tablets ect. 150 million easily but it is all speculation and like I said no one can really say for sure who won on a match by match comparision.

that does contain naming rights .. but not the sharing revenue with telstra ( as no one yet knows how much that could end up being but ova 20 Mill is certain )

I will give you a clue as to why. It has something to do with the length of the contract. However how much telstra added to the 1.025 billion is unknown due to Other factors such naming rights, how much of this doubled is due to estimated sharing revenue and how money of this double is due to the fox online money for the tablet rights. The latter was already payed into the 1.025 billion. Who knows how much the NRL currently have as a total?
