RL won the TV ratings by 8 million
the VFL's attendances continue to plummet ..... 15% down in just 2 years .... & they'll continue to fall & be under 30K a game in 2013
the NRL's memberships continue to climb by 15% .. year on year
the NRL's media deal will beat the VFL's by up to 100 million by the time its completed.
VFL.... Numb 2
The AFL's attendances dropped slightly because of the new teams plus stadium renovations. Expect a large spike in 2014 when redevelopments are complete, Adelaide Oval is being used and Gold Coast and GWS are more competitive. AFL crowds still trounced nRL crowds by over 3 million.
The AFL's memberships continue to climb despite being 400,000 above the nRL's paltry number.
The nRL's media deal will not beat the AFL's deal. The figures you dumb arses use are nothing but dodgy speculation at best. The nRL included their naming rights deal as part of their media deal. Does anyone know how much the AFL's current naming rights deal is with Toyota? 8 years ago I believe it was worth $10m for each of its 5 year deal. It would have only gone up since then.
nRL... still an amateur suburban code
