i am actually happy it failed.because i am not a fan of end of year origin.
after Grand Final > it should always be the International window.

is Origin is Standalone for game 2
and NRL teams have byes split between Game 1 and 3
So at worse a team could be with out there star players for 1 game..
which sometimes depending the year can be 5 or 6 at best.
it has def helped and it will back to this format for Season 2021

A week of no AFL should bode well for NRL ratings - usually they get a couple of weeks but AFL only giving NRL a weeks grace this year??

NRL rated 463K in Sydney , Brisb & Melb. it wasn't shown on the main channel in the wasteland capitals of perrf & sadelaide
