That’s very selective. Thought the nrl would have had higher given the large area of nsw and qld regionals following rl. May be the AFL is making ground ?

Don’t the NSW & Qld regional areas have a larger population than the rest.
Those figures are not something leaguers should show as a great example.

your metro ratings were 490k from a population of nearly 8mil for Syd and Bris. Therefore 6% of this population watched the NRL last night. Your regional ratings were 365 from 5mil QLD/NSW population, Therefore 7.3% of the population watched.


For the AFL 13.5% of our heartland 8.5mil (Mel,Ade,Perth) watched (1146k ratings). Our regional ratings of 337k from 2.4mil regionals is a 14% viewership. This doesnt account for the regional NSW QLD population watching the lions and the AFL in general.

What about these figures is innacurate? They seem pretty spot on to me.

be very interesting to see the numbers this week for Grand Final in Melbourne

could be record breaking, and not due to its at night.

due to no gatherings, no events no BBQ's no pubs or hotels.

everyone at home. with the biggest game in the Melbourne sporting calendar.

I think at night will help plus people who have set top boxes who may have gone to game being at home.

i think people not aloud to go anywhere is alot bigger than people going to the game..

We all know how big Grand Final BBQ's are, and gatherings for the event.

than take into account, the 4000 plus clubs and pubs located across Victoria witch will be empty.
