Souths beat Roosters??

Post by robsta000 »

Is it just me or was anyone else surprised by the 18-6 win by South Sydney over the Roosers?
I think I might have to pick them this week...

Well done Rabbits. The Roosters had a bad season last year didn't they? The Rabbits would be a good chance against the Eels this week at Telstra you'd think. I think I'll go with them again this week. I had a shocker in the tipping this week with Souths being one of my only 3 correct tips.

Souths will win this week, but the Eels will come back around the 4th round, they need to get a new #9 for 2008.

Wont be long before Souths start losing again. They aren't that great a team. Who have they beat so far.... Roosters and Eels. Enough said. Lets see how they go against the likes of the Bulldogs or Storm.

I read somewhere online this week (I think Daily Telegraph) that Souths are hoping for a 50,000 crowd on Friday night. Talk about a bandwagon. Still the Rabbitohs have had it tough for years before Rusty and co stepped in. I think they'll get smashed by the Bulldogs this week.

While I don't like Rus and Homes-a-court, I think that they did bring the soul back to the Bunnies.

You have great players like Merritt, Peachy, Kidwell, Widders and others who just blend in together and get the job done. Jason Taylor is also a great coach who has great people to do what he needs them to do.

I like the Bunnies, they are the family team, and the way they are going they are going to get better and better...
