I would expect to see around 30-40 in wa for the local derby, with that in mind, even if it is 40K you need to go back to 1993 to see these sort of crowd levels in the AFL.

Not one AFL response, how quick they were when our crowds were down on last year and nowhere near their 35-40% down and we get to hear what..... Nothing

It was well know the round 1 crowds would be low. The AFL arrogantly scheduled unexciting games as the cricket venues weren't available. You'll see the blockbusters over the next couple of rounds will smash any NRL figures, the AFL would be happy to get a Tassie game and GWS game out of the way early too.

Friday just past 545k metro for AFL, 720k metro for NRL.............................smashed... now add in regionals and its a massacre.

Lowest round 1 crowds for the AFL in 20+ years...............

That can be put down to the AFL starting the season early without access to its cricket grounds............AFL's plan to muscle in has backfired tremendously. :_<> :_<> :_<> :_<>
