I compared the measurements of storm and Geelong players a few years ago. Geelong were taller, the storm heavier.

Both attributes are necessary in each sport. Go figure

What I love about the AFL is that there is a role for almost every body size. Sandinlands is 7 foot and can dominate. Boomer Harvey is around 5'7" and can win games on his own. Lean players like Dustin Fletcher can be the best in their class, while heavy set players like Lockett can be unstoppable.

I never said RL didnt have diversity numb nuts. I said the AFL had more, as shown by comparing the sizes of two premiership teams at the time. Geelong players had a far broader range of heights and weights.
