The Next Coach to go?
The Next Coach to go?
Just had a bet with a few mates about the next coach to go in the AFL, there's always mayhem around mid year, wouldnt mind your thoughts on the next coach to be sacked or leave this year.. I couldnt split Chris Connolly, Neale Daniher and Grant Thomas depending on their performance in the first half of the year, but I'll settle on Chris Connolly.

There are many who still blindly support him & I wish I could, but the cold hard reality (in my opinion) is that he is the anchor which is stopping us from charging on.
Hard to say what the overall feeling is. Many agree with me and probably just as many reckon this is his time.
One thing that we all agree on is that without success (top 6) he will be out of there.

Heard a rumour that even though St Kilda are favourites for the flag, Grant Thomas has been given one more yet to make a GF. Has been told with the side that he has they should have already made one or two and at least must make it this year. Dont mean to be antagonistic Saints supporters, but he doesn't sell me as a Premiership Coach, I reckon I could have coached them to Prelims over the last couple of years. So watch out for the dark horse, G Thomas.....

How are St Kilda flag favourites? So called Melbourne tipsters/experts I bet. The same ones I'll bet who always seem to predict the Swans will either get the wooden spoon or will fail to make the Top 8.
Thomas does have a good list, whether the Saints can go all the way in September is another matter all together though. I have serious doubts that they can do it. Certainly ain't flag favourites in my eyes.
