KE said lol "One must assess whether the teams are 'competitive'. Sorry but the lions, gws, bulldogs, Gc and melb simply cant compete with every other AFL team. They cant even come close to competing. Just watch their matches. Unless they are playing against eachother its a deadset snorefest. The commentators of these matches sound like they're ready to put a gun to their heads the poor bastards. ".

Think Brisbane won against essendon ... Just saying

the Warriors pushed both 2012 Grand Finalists so far in 2013
within a whisker of wins over both the Storm & Bulldogs

this is the difference between the comps
sides will struggle throughout a season , but from time to time in the NRL our cellar dweller sides will lift , show pride in their jumper & compete strongly against quality opposition to a point where winning isn't out of the question
they have the talent to do this on occasion.

the Midgets & about 6 other teams in the VFL, would not get within a bulls roar of any the top 6 teams
on any given day
under any circumstance
as they have nothing in the talent stakes
zip
nada
nil

the VFL is at its lowest ebb where the distribution of talent is concerned .... EVER
even worse then 2012

this is a fact
it cannot be disputed

What an upset win by Brisbane today! Also, Gold Coast now 4 wins and 4 losses. KE's so called "basket case" teams! LOL.
the Thuns wins are over 4 sides who couldn't beat an egg , including the worst St Killedher side in ten years
its just manipulation of the VFL draw to make it look like they have improved a lot
when in reality
they are only a tad better then 2012

when will dopey VFL fans wake up
their comp is SHITE of the highest order

the thuns have lost tens of millions in their first 2 years
they are not within cooee of a profit

anyone saying they have is lying through their teeth
the VFL of course probably said they did

& as we know
are the biggest liars on planet earth

no "official" financial report is provided for either the Midgets or Thuns
gee I wonder why :-k

Where did you get that from Dave ... That they have lost tens of millions ? I know they made a heaps from the foo fighters concert and just signed the big day out for 5 years . I had read from wookie that suns made a profit in their first AFL year but just what I read . If you have any figures that would be great.

wookie is a delusional twit

but please
feel free to post an annual financial report for them

I think you'll find it hard to find
as it doesn't exist

the VFL hide theirs & the Midgets dire financial position & for good reasons
it is a horror story
a dead set horror story

You're right I don't know with any certainty that they did or did not make a profit. I have read from wookie, who seems fairly balanced , that they did in their first AFL year... Mainly due to the foo fighters concert as they own the management rights to the stadium , or share them with stadiums qld or something like that .

According to AD the Suns made a first year profit. No reason for this to not be true.
