I think the Broncos have already added the derby memberships into their current total, I seen a jump on there website a few weeks ago from 19k to 24k so Im pretty sure their 25,132 total is correct, apart from that I agree with you on the tigers, raiders, knights, warriors and titans, there numbers have'nt been updated for a while. The bulldogs would have to be close to 18k as well.Raiderdave wrote:Brandz wrote:NRL Membership

Derby membership? so you can get a membership that lasts for 1 or 2 games of the year, eg broncos play titans, & it goes to the total membership count?Brandz wrote:I think the Broncos have already added the derby memberships into their current total, I seen a jump on there website a few weeks ago from 19k to 24k so Im pretty sure their 25,132 total is correct, apart from that I agree with you on the tigers, raiders, knights, warriors and titans, there numbers have'nt been updated for a while. Yep, the Broncos sell about 6,000 "members" for one fucking game against North Queensland. How pathetic that a team in a town of 2 million with no nRL competition has to do that.adamj1300 wrote:Derby membership? so you can get a membership that lasts for 1 or 2 games of the year, eg broncos play titans, & it goes to the total membership count?Brandz wrote:I think the Broncos have already added the derby memberships into their current total, I seen a jump on there website a few weeks ago from 19k to 24k so Im pretty sure their 25,132 total is correct, apart from that I agree with you on the tigers, raiders, knights, warriors and titans, there numbers have'nt been updated for a while. & anyway
you can buy a scarf & be added to a VFL clubs total
how else can anyone explain
West Coke Eagles
50K members & average crowds of just 35K
Adelaide budgies the same
SWines
34K members & only 23K of them turning up to games
Collingdon
74K members
av crowd ... 57K
VFL memberships ... a sham

Imagine how shit the Broncos crowds would be if they were in the bottom 8 and didn't give away free memberships!

Re: AFL vs NRL (Memberships in 2013)
The $ANFL bleeds us dry with their greedy stadium deal. The crowd that Port needs to make a profit from home games is 28,000, that's enough to kill off every nRL club except Brisbane. All money made from catering sales also goes straight back to the $ANFL with Port not getting a cent. This is why Port have the worst stadium deal in the country and the Crows the second worst. The $ANFL are holding back professional football in SA to fund their local comp in a bid to remain the second best in the country. They're a joke run by an old boys club who are still pissed off at the VFL poaching their players back in the 1980's.adamj1300 wrote:they have in the past, made profits, their financial loss in 2012 we dont know the full details of? they could of spent millions in expanding other businesses that the club owns.Raiderdave wrote:Stewie wrote:adamj1300 wrote:ha, most of their membership are give aways, i signed ip to the NRMA for car insurance & scored a membership, & the wife was at a work function at their shitty leagues club & won a raffle & scored a season membership! so we have 2 bronco memberships with out paying for themStewie wrote:Yep, the Broncos sell about 6,000 "members" for one fucking game against North Queensland. comparing to 2 is quite amusing!
to get the numbers more impressive, the AFl clubs should do as the NRL does
introduce Derby memberships,
Get all the Clubs to open up huge leagues clubs, full them with pokies & have free membership give aways,
for the AFl to sell a percentage of it self off to news limited, Foxtell, & give away free memberships with subscriptions with its pay tv service & news papers

i think raider is getting really desperate now, after seeing the afl completely smash the queerL, he has realized the only way to make those piss ass numbers look any better is to make up some lame excuse
i'll let him go though, seeing he is a total f wit, why punish him for that![Cool ](./images/smilies/icon_cool.gif)
