I will play Devils advocate to your argument Lacey, the NRL has only 1 fully live broadcast and 2 delayed games on FTA TV. They also have 1 less match per week. How would it be fair to compare the two sports on this alone. Even with rep games RL in OZ has less over all games. To top it off the NRL has one team based in NZ, so at least that teams NZ numbers should be included because they rate a lot less in OZ then most other teams.

Whats that got to do with anything??? it's like saying the NRL don't have a team in Tasmania so there ratings shouldn't count I'ts your games fault if no one wants to have anything to do with it. It tried rep football, tried Origin , - couldn't make a go of it - but don't worry it's still trying

I'm talking about matches and the numbers of them shown, While your talking about your game and its many shortcomings.

As far as one eyed supporters go , it's a case of the pot calling the kettle black

No it doesn't ??? AFL kicks arse look at the figures. Comparing two competitions AFL and nrl ... Apples for apples ... AFL smash nrl. If AFL had SoO and tests then you may be able to throw those in but comparing one comp to the other ... There is no comparison ... The figures are there ... Compare the AFL season to the nrl season .... AFL smashes it . Even if you do want to throw NZ into it (how desperate) AFL still smashes nrl.

So do we add in super rugby figures for South Africa and NZ and who ever else plays ... Plus games that NZ v South Africa lol to their ratings. That's pathetic and shows desperation. Compare a season on hone and away and finals with home and away and finals and AFL smashes it as is shown ... But even if you throw on SoO AFL will sti smash it ... As it did last year. Grabbing at SoO, all stars, and regionals shows how desperate you are. I guess the broadcasting deals that television stations paid in Australia shows AFL again smashed it.... Even when you add in NZ in your desperation . Man that's just pathetic .
