Your forgetting about tonights game. Another 250-300k

So with 1 live game, 2 delayed and no NZ numbers the NRL were about 900-950k behind.
Rugby League, the dominant force in Australian sport!

Nope I included 300K for tonight (not sure what it will be), it would have been 1.5 with out Monday.

4.8 -3.3= 1.5

NRL 2 live games (to two different audiences) and 1 delayed. AFL just about every game overlapping in some way. You started the excuses.

Fox footy just killing it at the moment. I heard they have about 4.4% of the weekly market compared to the next highest which is about half of that.

I reckon the NRL are 3.55, not counting NZ.

FTA 750 +350 +350 =1450 (950 regionals) = 2.4

PTV 600 sat, 250 Sun, 300 mon at 1.15

Nz will be at least 150K

So no excuses are needed on the NRL side of things

No kick boxing or darts on fox footy channel though.

Yeah probabaly 3.6 million for the NRL after monday (assumed 300K). Which is a good result
AFL was at about 4.75 million all up after counting it up properly. which will probabaly be about average for them. No doubt in my mind that the NRL could push the AFL numbers with Thursday night live (an extra 600K compared to friday delayed game), Friday night live (minus -100K compared to the normal duel header friday night due to no simulcast/Brisbane only every second week), Sunday arvo live (extra 300K on delayed game) and an extra Foxtel game (extra 200 K on fox, new teams wont get instant support). Most of this will have to wait for the next TV deal. Im sure you would be looking forward to that Pussy.

255k for NRL Monday from TV tonight's ratings site. So in the end AFL ended up being about 1.2 million in front nationally for this round. Be interesting to see a round 1 though to current rounds total ratings.

Nice results. Can you post the OZ only results or will I have to put them together?

Rd 4

NRL
Th 1030
Fri 1200 + 300 =1500
Sat 340
Sun 580 + 220 = 800
Mon 560
= 4.2m
AFL
Fri 1250
Sat 1300 + 940 = 2250
Sun 555 + 500 = 1500
= 5m

No NZ figures used. All the figures came from the Media Week site except for a few they did'nt have, and I got those from Media Spy or Beau's figures from Oztam. There a bit ruff , but wont be far wrong.

Throw in the NZ figures as well if you want. Just have two different set of results. Im not sure about your AFL round 4 results Im only getting smaller figures see above. Our round four was a few weeks after yours.

round 5 NRL: estimate 4 million (couldnt find sunday c9 game wasnt in the top 20. Added 400K metro and 268K regional to come up with the total would that be ok as a guess?)

round 6 NRL : 3.7 million (3 saturday games and no Monday night would have cost you in the ratings)
