I get that that is how you view the game and you don't like AFL. That's fine if you don't yet you seem preoccupied with AFL. Everyone's entitled to their opinion. Others either don't agree, and they're entitled to their opinion, or it doesn't effect their love of the game. Either way you seem more interested in trying to put AFL down in order to prove that nrl is better. Just don't watch AFL if you don't like it! I'm not a big fan of the NFL yet you don't see me constantly going on about it trying to prove to everyone why I don't like their game is reason for them not to like ???

So whats ur point Raiderdave? 1st Storm got beaten in 8 matches - you blokes have OCD because you keep going on and on and on. FFS grow up whether the AFL is lopsided at the moment is not a permanent thing just the same as when the NRL will go thru the same, it happens when clubs are developing. It happens whats the big deal - it dosen't take away from comp and there will still be upsets deal with it!

So lets say the nrl is a better comp in your eyes ... Well great .. So it should be for you as that's your sport of choice... Of course you are going to see the nrl as better. Others like AFL, then so be it. Do you think you're going to change their mind? Just enjoy your sport, don't watch AFL if you don't like! That's fine. If the AFL is lopsided then so be it, doesn't impact on you does it? There are things I don't like about the AFL (tribunal decisions for one) but I still enjoy it and like watching my club. I don't mind nrl either, don't love it but can watch it. Each to their own I feel.

Wow they couldn't go 16 in a row. Guess that means your comp must be even.

What would people like eels and Dave do I we just agreed with them. We just said, yes okay nrl is the most popular sport in the country, yes nrl gets bigger crowds and has bigger membership and gets bigger tv deals and sponsorship... Okay then. They would have nothing to whine about. It doesn't matter that the facts say otherwise, they never pay heed to them anyway lol... So we may as just say "yes okay, nrl is bigger and better than AFL ... There you go :)". Funny thing is I'm still going to watch AFL on tv, go to games etc ... Won't impact me on the slightest. And I'll be able to go to those games on any state or territory in the country and watch games live on ftA across the country ... Actually I can watch more live games of AFL then nrl in qld and Sydney.. But that doesn't matter lol

Oi! Phelpsy snap out of it and settle the fukk down. I won't have these sorts of emotional unstable and unproductive outbursts in my thread! Eels is putting up the facts and he's doing a fine job of it. You need to listen and acknowledge.

Look I know it's hard following such a lopsided comp. So it's understandable you're at the point where u just can't take it anymore. So ill forgive you this time phelpsy. But please, do try provide us with "options" or solutions from now on in rather than exasperated emo yelpings, as above.

And what a weekend it was for the basketcase leaguers. All bar gws, who tried valiantly against an essendon team who were working at half capacity, copped 8 - 12 goal drubbings.

Folks when will you all listen to the gospel of ke and realise, this is a serious problem. We gotta join heads and think of solutions here. No more fighting!
