Thank God for Sheedy!

Congradulations to Andrew McLeod and Chris Johnson as co-captains of Australia in the International Rules Series. This could only happen under the inspirng coaching and vision of Kevin Sheedy.

now it seems to be the case that the oz camp are getting to be ahead of themselves (again). making assumptions on how they are very confident and thinking they are top class. wrong.

"A lot of the Irish players, they don't defend very well"
perhaps you should play against them first eh son, no doubt you might have a reversed opinion afterwards having looked at Irelands squad. we will see
"We have got a brand new team and the Irish don't know who they will be playing against."
oz camps ignorance is laughable :D

people ive talked to dont want oz to win. says alot really bout what people think bout the aussie team.

:D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D [/quote]

Fuck Channel 9. The game isn't being broadcast until 12.10am Saturday. The AFL would be better off awarding the TV rights to Channel 7/10. I'm sick to death of the way Channel 9 treats AFL fans in the northern states.

With SBS now not interested in the Friday night deal Channel 9 proposed for the northern states, it seems obvious the only worthy bid is now from Channel 7/10.

Pity about the channel nine thing there beaussie. But i spose when you're living in league heartland there's not much you can do eh? :)

Here in central Australia the Aboriginal run network Imparja has put the league on first at 8pm tomorrow followed by the footy at 10pm. Spose blackfellas love their league too...

In any case its gunna be a nice night in front of the box. Go Aus in the league, ireland in the footy. :D

Lucky you. I look forward to the day that an International Rules test is played in Sydney and Brisbane.
