A-League A Succses!

Its safe to say now that the A-League is a succses close comp crowds in the 15-25000 and the skill is top well done A-League great work!

Things are finally looking good for soccer in Australia. Will the good crowds continue though? I was reading the other day that Sydney FC is already feeling a drop in crowds.

The crowds are going great in Auckland and Gosford I believe....

QLD Roar are doing well in the crowd stakes aswell.

I hope it all works but have grave fears. Soccer in aus needs to jump a few more levels to make it truly worth spectating. One level up just doesnt do it for me.

Problem will always be the best Aussie players choosing to play overseas. Still the current A-League format is much more enticing than the previous NSL. The fact the competition doesn't compete with the AFL or NRL should help too.
