Round 1 rated 1.2m with slightly more FTA numbers. It'll probably rate 1.15m, over 3 hours too, and from 1 game with teams from 1 market =D>eelofwest wrote:1.2m were...............Xman wrote:From 2 games. 1.3m and 700k last night. Wow.....These figures are amazing. No wonder XMan's throwing a tizzy fit and gone into denial. From 5.30 to 7.30 we rate 1.5m in NSW, and where not far behind that number in Qld . Wow ... just WOW!

Brisbanes figures are good but when the entire populations 2 teams are playing youd expect that. Sydneys are on par with the AFL in Melbourne. However if you average the two games the AFL winspussycat wrote:Wow.....These figures are amazing. No wonder XMan's throwing a tizzy fit and gone into denial. Now we've got 2 FTA games today. How will the NRL go on FTa today I wonder?

Live match vs live match NRL pisses on the AFL literally...on FTA and Fox... =D> =D>

Time to update your list Pussycat, if this continuous i cant see any AFL games in the regular season making the top 10 on FTA...pussycat wrote:Wow.....These figures are amazing. Re: Fight Club - Football TV Ratings Thread
No, 2 live matches v one live match. The NRL should be miles ahead. Imagine the ratings the AFL would get if the eagles played the crows and 2 Vic teams played at the same time, all shown in to their own markets! This is a reasonable comparison.eelofwest wrote:Are you forgetting something?Xman wrote:Brisbanes figures are good but when the entire populations 2 teams are playing youd expect that. But, as I've stated, combining two targeted games gives the NRL a win for 3 hours and a loss for an hour on FN. Shame they lose the other 9 hours FTA on the weekend

The NRL and ch9 throw all their eggs in their 2hour Friday night live broadcast. Sometimes they have a minor win using this tactic. They lose the rest of the weekend without even a whimper.

Re: Fight Club - Football TV Ratings Thread
Interesting to note that this year the Brisbane FTA market actually represents over 3m people.

I'm pretty sure this was 2.5m last year. It could be that the NRL metro figures are higher as a result but the regionals for Qld are lower.

Re: Fight Club - Football TV Ratings Thread
The late NRL broadcast would have rated just over 600k nationally, but think your first broadcast would be close to 1.4 million. Keep up the good results NRL you might get close this year if you keep this up.

Re: Fight Club - Football TV Ratings Thread
At least get the terminology correct this was not a game it was a broadcast made up of two NRL games. If you want to talk games they both rated about 1 million which is still good.eelofwest wrote:Time to update your list Pussycat, if this continuous i cant see any AFL games in the regular season making the top 10 on FTA...pussycat wrote:Wow.....These figures are amazing. Well thank you Pies, as you say these ratings are massive in any ones book and only a merkin (xturd) would try and debase them... =D> =D>piesman2011 wrote:The late NRL broadcast would have rated just over 600k nationally, but think your first broadcast would be close to 1.4 million.
