So crowds are judged by how full to capacity the stadium is? :-k

  only NRL fans could make such a laughable claim!

So lets break it really down, we are told SYD = RL. AFL = nobody cares or is interested again so we are told. RL game in the hart of RL Territory (Sharks/Dragons). 20k AFL game in the HART of RL territory (west Syd). 23k.

Um have u RL blokes been belted in the ring too much (aka mardi gra just gone) or do you need to get stronger meds, RL now expanding to a Syd suburb near you....NRL or should it be called the SydneyRL (SRL) you be the judge.

No, Whats happening is they are sick of comparing real numbers because they basically lose on ever subject. Now we have KE who just completely ignores crowds, ratings, revenue etc and would rather talk gibberish, eels who only comments on other NRL fans posts because he's too stupid to actually debate with anyone, and Raiderdave who would rather focus on "growth" using bogus time frames that suite his argument, and when even these figures fail him he claims fudging.

They are such a sad bunch but its all weve got so we make do.

Hey Raiderdave I thought I would fill in some blanks to ur stats:
2007 Syd v Collingwood - 63k
2013 Syd v GWS - 23k

2007 game against Collingwood 2nd elimination final 64645 fans
2013 game in rd 1 easter against GWS 2012 wooden spoon 23690 - GWS home game

Rd 1 NRL total attendance 200312
RD 4 NRL total attendance 179101

= -21211 fans in 4 rounds
Now thats decline

In particular Sharks v Dragons at endeavour stadium 2004 22302 fans
2013 same teams same ground 20130 fans,

Shit thats 2000 fans lost, they must be dying and not being replaced!
Again thats decline!

Um excuse me mate. Sharks stadium is a 20,000 capacity stadium and the sharks filled it up. That roosters picture with no one in it is cause once a crowd at the SFS gets big enough ( crowd of about 25,000 ) then they open up those seats on the side if required. Now we have the AFL. AFL more money then the NRL so they give away plenty free tickets to avoid being embarrassed. Heck, if the giants and swans didn't give away free tickets, we'd see that giants would get an average crowd of 2000 and the swans would be lucky to get 12,000. Read it and weep

Swans have 35000 members, the most of any NSW team. Show me where these so called free tickets come from you bullshit artist.

So without free tickets the swans wouldn't get over 12k, which affectively means over half their crowd go for free...... :(/ :(/ :(/

In the daily teligraph a week after the giants v crows game there was an article on how skoda stadium gets all the refurbishments while they only got 5,000 to a game and only 2000 or so paid and 2000 were giveaways I don't know where the other 1000 came from though
