Yes thankyou pies. Look at all those cloudy days you poor bastards receive. More than a full month extra to sydney bringing damp drizzle and depressing the public. And I'd put my left testicle on it that those cloudy days in melbourne are most often much more cloudy, dark, grey and dull than the cloudy days here in sydney.

It's the truth and you poor bastards know it, just acknowledge it folks. It's not so hard, I acknowledge the pitfalls of sydney all the time....because im not ignorant :D

Comon guys, its time to open your arms, stop doing these ones [-( like a lil 4 year old who doesnt wanna eat his veggies and be at one with the truth.

Besides I have other 'short notes' to provide, this thread is not just about the weather you know

so less than 10% extra cloudy days... yet far drier. Wow, I can see your point...

It was cloudy in Melbourne today KE and 37 degrees. Lots of sun and clouds in the sky as well. Is that a cloud day? Probably. Sydney and Melbourne have about the same rain days, with Sydney having almost twice the amount of rain. The rest is just opinion and living in Sydney yours is not the best opinion about Melbourne's weather.

This was the only site I could find all the capitals it's from 2002 but I guess not to much climate change has occurred since then.

Not going off my opinion here pies, but off numerous friends and colleagues who reside or have resided in melbourne. You know im right so dont make me waste my time proving it. K?

Look guys, really enough is enough. Stop yer trolling. I have more reports to provide you than the dismal weather you poor bastards in melbourne suffer in comparison to us sydney folk. Many more reports actually. And you poor damp grey drizzle weary melbournite haters are not the only people this thread is directed at! I'm talking to all you isolated southerners :) . So pies xman and co. think about your other isolated southerners who experience better weather than you and shuttup so I can continue and help educate the lot of yas! [-X

And i never said "a month" you innacurate twit! I said more than a month! So your statement is wrong on two counts :\: :_<> :(/

Can you be any more wrong Xman? Oh wait #-o You're the guy who says melbourne never tanked!!! :(/

10% of a year is 36.5 days. Is that more than a month?

Ah yeah it is dumbo.

I'm sorry but lemme help you here. The problem is multifaceted and larger than I first thought.

You've not only got a mathematical deficiency, but also an English comprehensition deficiency.

Right lets start from the start. Sydney has 134 cloudy days while melbourne has 180. I said thats more than a full month extra cloudy days than in sydney which was correct :) ... You then stated, that's less than 10% extra cloudy days in melbourne...apparently based on it being exactly one month additional rain. That was your first double error. Its not one month and its not 10% #-o

Folks please read my signature, we know Xman cant

But wait its not over. Now we have Xman asking about whether 10% of a year 36.5 days is more than a month...Well I learnt that in year 1, his private school maybe got it to him around year 10. But what on earth is he getting at? The mind boggles and I can only assume his addition and subtraction is suspect at best. Seems to me the poor bastard cant subtract 134 from 180 properly and thinks the answer is 36 not 46  If thats true, and i think im right again, then that's another fail added to your list over the last few posts Xman.

It's really disturbing to see how the basics of maths and english have been bypassed in these posts and quite likely in Xmans education. [-X

Howdy folks,

KE here reporting live from melb airport. Well it's been a whirlwind visit holding high level influential meetings but I'm now safe and sound about to depart melb. Today was unfortunately not an eye opener. As we left syd airport the pilot mentioned "unfortunately we are leaving the best weather behind" ... And wasn't he right. Abysmal grey dark clouds with an awful wind and some drizzle coming in shortly after midday. It was chilly folks ESP in the morn but the melboirnites seemed completely at one with the enviro. Compared to the heat of the other week where they were sweaty, bothered and stunk, this week they looked comfy. Good for them I say! But I do feel sorry for them, ignorant to what could be if they weren't a 'southerner'.
