Re: RL World Cup Year. How's AFL doing?
Yes New Zealand has one professional club but thousands of professionals playing in Australia, NZ, England and France. That's why they can choose a national team. That's why it means so much to play for their country. I guess you wouldn't understand as AFL players don't have the chance to represent their country. They don't even get to represent their state.
And when it comes to New Zealand loving Rugby more, who cares? Are all our sporting achievments nothing because the Australia loves cricket more than anything else. Pull your head in

Just giving you a reality check about how insignificant the RLWC really is. A two horse race and the second ranked team is a minnow of world sport.seanb58 wrote:Yes New Zealand has one professional club but thousands of professionals playing in Australia, NZ, England and France. AFL international cup vs Rugby League World Cup, no comparison and you know it.
Insignificant minnow of World Sport, that's Vicky Kicky by a long, long way.

AFL international cup is pathetic, the cabbramatta nines tournament for rugby league that was held about a month ago is more of a world cup and has more nations competing then that stupid cup...............VickyKicky wrote:Xman wrote:Just giving you a reality check about how insignificant the RLWC really is. Neither World Cup ranks of any significance, but at least we're not deluding ourselves!VickyKicky wrote:Xman wrote:Just giving you a reality check about how insignificant the RLWC really is.
