Massive Crowd for Wests v Broncos
Well it seems rugby league is going from strength to strength with a massive crowd for the match today and it wasnt even two sydney teams playing. Just great stuff, guess it makes dr nic and beaussie look like a pair of buffoons once again. Rugby League is dying indeed .
The pair of you need your skulls opened up and your brains syphoned of the incredible amount of snot filling it.

Yet it wasn't even a sellout at the tiny Aussie Stadium. Imagine what that crowd would have looked like at Telstra Stadium. I expected at the very least a sellout with the Wests Tigers bandwagon in full swing. However as is typically the case with rugby league (even during finals), a sellout was impossible to achieve.

Comon beaussie admit it. You cringed when you saw the crowd. :D I'd go as far to say you were physically ill aswell
And what about next week! Oh its going to be an absolute league fest in sydney town. The crowds'll be everywhere and beaussie wont be there to see it! I guess its better for him that way.

I've been of the opposite opinion. I've been overestimating NRL crowds. I picked this one would sell out but it fell short.King-Eliagh wrote:Well it seems rugby league is going from strength to strength with a massive crowd for the match today and it wasnt even two sydney teams playing. I feel your pain Beaussie in regards to ground allocation. When you were complaining about Telstra Stadium being booked for the Wests Tigers/NFQ Cows match a few weeks ago, the same has happened again with this weekends NRL finals matches. With 2 Sydney teams playing at Aussie Stadium (being Wests Tigers v StGeorge Illawarra), it doesn't make sense that Parramatta, who were always going to play an Interstate team, play at Telstra Stadium. Tickets went on sale today for the Wests Tigers/SGI matches and by 11am they were already sold out.

St George/Illawarra fans have had 2 weeks to get their tickets. Wests Tigers fans have also been aware that should they have won yesterday they'd be playing at Aussie Stadium. Why did these fans not get in early and purchase a ticket. You snooze, you lose.Scorger Man wrote:I feel your pain Beaussie in regards to ground allocation. History shows that rugby league supporters much prefer the loungeroom anyway.
Anyway that is nothing when compared to only 9,000 Swans members out of 28,000 or 14,000 out of 45,000 West Coast members getting a ticket to the AFL GF.

So your saying no tickets were sold in the six weeks prior?King-Eliagh wrote:Beaussie wrote:Tickets have only been on sale for the last 6 weeks.

St George/Illawarra fans alone snapped up 30,000 tickets in week one of the NRL finals. Wests Tigers fans knew that had they won on Sunday, they'd be meeting St George/Illawarra at Aussie Stadium. You snooze you lose.
What is hilarious is reading at LU how EA is fuming because he missed out on a ticket to see his Wests Tigers.
