Vlad .....

VFL ... disrespectful to the ANZAC legend with a gimmicky game with no Kiwis involved
just another example of this odd little sport played no where else on earth
on the outside .... looking in

Rugby League
genuine & true to the ANZAC spirit
well done to them =D> =D>
yeah with 1/4 the attendance and ratings..........
40,187 at our ANZAC game

so there was 160,500 at the VFL's was there ?

marcus .... is there a bigger flog then him on these pages ?

Storm V Warriors crowd was 20000 so maybe a bit more then 4 times.

My comments about our ANZAC day game being 4 times more important refers to games already played Dave!

Wow, having a bad day arent you!

And thanks Pies. the ANZAC day game was near 1.8M with regionals and foxtel included. Plus 90k attendance.

http://www.collingwoodfc.com.au/news/20 ... er.default?
AFL Acting General Manager Broadcasting, Scheduling and Legal Affairs Simon Lethlean said Wednesday’s match at the MCG drew a total average audience of 1.726 million viewers nationally
Easily more than 4 times the NRL's laughable attempt.

this dickhead first of all adds a lazy 80K to the VFL's TV ratings
then says its a fair comparison in an attempt to get an audience 4 times bigger
by having the VFL's attendance , FTA .... & Pay Ratings up against the NRL's .. attendance , plus only their pay tv ratings

8-[

is there a bigger cock on these forums then marcus ?

well .. :-k
it'd be a 3 way dead heat between him , bearsy & spewie

anyway

an NRL FTA audience on ANZAC day would slay 1.4 to 1.5 Million.... plus the attendance
so 4 times that is 6 million

ah Marcus ..... you're about 4.2 Million short buddy
While criticising me for rounding 1.726M up to 1.8M you round 74k up to 80k

Then you go on to you usual "when, if..." dream.

Youre a laugh a minute Dave!

How could you not be given the ANZAC day between Storm and Warriors only drew 20k. Have NRL fans got 2 heads? After all, the Australia v NZ game is the one youre gloating about

The funny thing is with the Storm v Warriors game is that they sponge off the AFL match hours earlier at the 'G. The Storm who are desperate for bigger crowds organise joint press conferences with CFC and EFC as well as offering those clubs members discounts to the game. Yet all they can manage is a paltry 20k... to an ANZAC Day game. What a disgrace.

Face it. The NRLs game fails in Australia's biggest sporting market, even when the city is full of sports fans. The people vote with their feet Dave and they won't even walk across a small bridge to attend the NRLs little game.

I suppose the nRL game on ANZAC Day in Sydney at the SFS is called the NSWRL AAC (Australian Army Corps) game because no NZ team is playing in it? Can't have it both ways dick head!

Nice try on the deflection btw, the Storm and the Warriors still couldn't sell out their ANZAC Day match, how pathetic. That's a disgrace to all our diggers, but I suppose they're used to the Storm not selling out ANZAC Day games. They just don't have enough fans to sell out AAMI Park in the first place

so how many Kiwis need to be involved in an ANZAC event or ceremony for it to be considered "true ANZAC" Dave. Think hard about this one.
