Youre claiming victory while looking at the game numbers only. Yet these number ignore the fact you can fit 1.5 NRL games in every single AFL game. Therefore the NRL numbers are overrepresented in comparison. Game length is also important since it shows the number of hours the sport is on TV. 27 hrs of AFL v 16 hrs of NRL per weekend.

A huge win for AFL, saturating Australian TV and smashing every other sport. No wonder they dominate every other facet as well.

Not if you add in the preseason comp 5 million and we look at your 17 million and work out it should actually be 15 million (SOO X3 11 million + 2 tests 2 million + CVC 1 million + all stars 1 million + 1 million just to make it fairer) but like you they are all made up stats on your side if there are more numbers to crunch I will leave it you the experts. Still not one quote to back up your facts (sic). All assumptions about how much money the NRL made and assumptions about how many watched 200 games on TV. All that we do know is that the NRL got 1.025 billion + some from Telstra and they had about 114 million watching them on TV. The rest is your speculation twisting and turning with the only people convinced, already wearing tin hats.
The fact is that no one knows how much the NRL will make from their deal because they are not willing to tell anyone. If it was more then the AFL im sure they would have printed it, after all Testra was happy to tell everyone how much they got the AFL online rights for. So it must be the NRL which is stopping this deal from being public knowledge. At the same time the NRL is not realeasing any figures about how many people watched the sport of RL is OZ. If they got a lot more then 114 million im sure they would have released the figures (maybe they will soon). They at least should have said something by now. We only know through a newspaper article that the AFL got more then the NRL but the NRL havent said anything since then. All this silence tells you two things. That the NRL TV deal is smaller then the AFL deal and that the TV figures are less.

Why dont you show me some facts that show that SOO etc is not included in the NRLs 114 million (they probabaly used a more accurate or different counting system this year or perhaps they hadent got the diary data of about 1 million people (NT,Western Qld, North West NSW small parts of SA and Vic) in yet which resulted in a smaller number for the NRL). If I was comparing the NRL season to the AFL season I would only include the regular season or I would include all of the NRL products compared to the AFL products (so all of the tests for NRL and the preseason for the AFL). Why include all of the extra games for one comp but not all of the extra games of the other comp it dont make sense. But all of it is irrelavent until the AFL and NRL release their numbers which the will do soon. So lets wait and see what they come up with.

If I was comparing the NRL season to the AFL season I would only include the regular season or I would include all of the NRL products compared to the AFL products (so all of the tests for NRL and the preseason for the AFL). Why include all of the extra games for one comp but not all of the extra games of the other comp it dont make sense
