According to RL supporters RL as a competition got a total of 133 million viewers (made up stats). Why dont you wait for them to put out a report before you assume. At this stage the AFL season came out about 10 million in front of the NRL season in OZ and that is all you can say. Im sure they will do a Game V Game comparison soon. Just for the record how many hours of viewing would the AFL competition be ahead as well? It would have to be at least 150 million viewer hours at the least.  AFL the most watched (no denying it most hours watched) competition in the country by a long way.
Viewing hours means jack Pies........................cricket would rule the world if viewing hour meant anything to TV networks.

It is about how many eyeballs are on your code and the NRL is in front by a mile 147m which includes the NZ ratings for our NZ TV deal.

16 team comp NRL 147M, 2 hour broadcasts and 8 broadcasts a week
18 team comp AFL 123, 3 hour broadcasts and 13 broadcast a week

Our code is just more valuable get use to it boys, Game over...... =D> =D>

Oh and our TV deals are going to come out in front of your TV deal that is all she wrote let the fat lady sing..............
ah no. If youre looking for the most watched sporting program on TV the AFL has 123M people watching for a total of 3 hrs, while the NRL has 113M watching for only 2 hours.

What an absolute drubbing! AFL leading the way in everything =D>

Still not one quote to back up your facts (sic). All assumptions about how much money the NRL made and assumptions about how many watched 200 games on TV. All that we do know is that the NRL got 1.025 billion + some from Telstra and they had about 114 million watching them on TV. The rest is your speculation twisting and turning with the only people convinced, already wearing tin hats.
The fact is that no one knows how much the NRL will make from their deal because they are not willing to tell anyone. If it was more then the AFL im sure they would have printed it, after all Testra was happy to tell everyone how much they got the AFL online rights for. So it must be the NRL which is stopping this deal from being public knowledge. At the same time the NRL is not realeasing any figures about how many people watched the sport of RL is OZ. If they got a lot more then 114 million im sure they would have released the figures (maybe they will soon). They at least should have said something by now. We only know through a newspaper article that the AFL got more then the NRL but the NRL havent said anything since then. All this silence tells you two things. That the NRL TV deal is smaller then the AFL deal and that the TV figures are less.

According to you its 260m plus NZ

Add to that the NRL have 4 prime time games per week and the AFL only 3, plus NSW is the highest value advertising in Australia.

AFL, clearly the number 1 TV sport in Australia with a massive 369m viewer hours! =D> =D> =D> and this excludes many fox footy shows =D>

More assumptions with no quotes = no credability.

Why would they add the AFL preseason comp when comparing the AFL season to the NRL season? It doesnt make sense.

how is it assumption about our TV ratings you dimwit
are you assuming the NRL rep season( I call it that now because all of these games are played by NRL players)
didn't attract 17 Million veiwers last year ... when we all know they did
every one of them has ratings published ... just try & challenge this number
I bet you can't D head

SOO X 3
RL tests X2 in April & Oct
City Country in April
All stars in Feb

17 million veiwers ... + 114 Million veiwers
131 Million veiwers ..... 8 million more then the VFL

end of
Include the 50% longer running time =D>
a veiwer in the first hour .... is the same veiwer in the 3rd
he isn't 3 different people d head ....
Thats the point dunce. Longer shows get a lower average because its more likely they will have viewers who won't watch for the entire program. Therefore for the longer show to get the same or similar ratings they would have FAR more individual viewers. =D>

AFL, most watched sport on Australian TV =D>
King-Eliagh: ...I believe [RL] is popular in all the other states and territories, bar tasmania.
