Re: NRL and AFL cross promotion
Stewie, blame your local Government for that one stewie, they screwed the Dogs and NRL around and ended up not getting any game.
Iirc the dogs had to change not long beforehand and take their game up to regional Qld because of the idiots running your state.

Cross promotion assumes the codes can get along. Complete waste of time. The NRL hate the AFL for trying to gouge Sydney of it's support base, and the AFL hate the NRL for trying to invade it's homeland and make it as hard as possible for us to succeed!
Cross promotion = Bull$hit.

Lol. The AFL wanted to expand the national game to new areas in NSW and QLD. They couldn't care less about the nRL in Melbourne. In fact no one really gives a shit about the nRL in MelbourneParraEelsNRL wrote:vFL started it.

The vFL only expanded (not really, just moved a team) after the NSWRL had decided to bring in two new teams, them the facts spewie, RL lead, vFL lapdogs followed.

Re: NRL and AFL cross promotion
Oh yeah! So where's the AFL's team in Ballarat or Bendigo? Where is it in Tasmania even??
Re: NRL and AFL cross promotion
Not sure where youre going with this? I never said they copied everything, just a number. It would be foolish to suggest otherwise.Striker wrote:Oh yeah! So where's the AFL's team in Ballarat or Bendigo? Where is it in Tasmania even??
Have you got the money to pay the rent? With crowds of less than 20k youd be lucky to pay the rent.Striker wrote:Well? How would the NRL fit into a busy Etihad schedule when they use the stadium so regularly?
The AFL are Etihad's major client. Why would they go out of their way to accomodate the NRL, especially if they struggle to pay the rent?
