RL journo reveals inroads AFL is making in country towns

I sense country bias by the journo. Why do all that travelling when the game is in good shape outside of the Riverina anyway? Places like Tamworth, Moree, Dubbo, Glen Innes, Port Macquarie, Goulburn and so on love league. There are teams in Newcastle and Wollongong, and Canberra covers a good area as well.

So what if the Riverina has a level of AFL following?? It's a small part of the state and the southern parts are actually closer to Melbourne than Sydney! The journo should be sacked. There isn't a problem.
