lots of probs internally with our mob throughout 2012
but they came home with a wet sail & all was forgiven .. as they were 2nd last at rnd 13
& still 13th 8 weeks out ....
came as a huge surprise to raiders fans that their side mades the playoffs in the end
so their support was not reflective of their eventual finish in 2012

the brumbies did it the other way .... led the australian s15 conference all year ... til the last round & they ended up missing out altogether

they only averaged 14K
if the Raiders had been in the top 4 of the NRL like the brumbies were in essence in the s15 ... our smallest crowds would have been 14K

26,760 to a final V the Tigers in 2010.. ( sold out within an hour of tickets going on sale to the public ) ... demand for this game was that high a crowd of between 35 & 40,000 would have been drawn if canberra had a venue with that sort of capacity
a window to the potential following a winning & stable Raiders side has ... no other side in the region has support like them & the response to their success in the last 2 finals at home proves they have an army waiting to follow them if they could just get a bit of consistency about them ..
following the Raiders is quite litterally like riding a roller coaster ......

then we have the Midgets & their fudged turnouts in Canberra & freebies given away like confetti
