AFL 1.26 metro + 420 regionals + 480 Fox = 2.16 million
NRL 924K metro + 616 regionals = 1.54 million

AFL wins by about 600K viewers

live everywhere except WA ... that got it on an hours delay

that attracted a national audience of...... 1,571 Mill

If the NRL was on Fox during finals time it would sky rocket to above 500k easy.

Whats funny is the NRL as been smashing you boys all year on FTA and the only way you can win..... is by adding FOX numbers which we all know includes double counts from regional AUS.... =D>

Actually no, once the seven mate figures come out we still slightly beat you and that's without fox, just face it, AFL is the dominant sport.

The double counts are the latest rumor that the league fans are putting out there I have yet to see any proof. I havent even seen an explaination for how they would be double counts. The way I understand Oztam boxes is that every 15 minutes -30 minutes you have to click on your controller to show that you are still watching the footy. Does this mean that people are clicking the controller on the fox channel and then flicking over to 7 and clicking on this to make sure they are getting a double rating for both fox and 7? Surely when they click on the C7 to show that they are watching the C7 program the Oztam box realises and stops counting them as watching the Foxtel show.
470K for NRL, so what you are saying is that AFL has beaten the RL record on fox. Ok cool.
