LOL No I didnt! I agree its currently lopsided at the bottom end but increadibly even at the middle to top end, far more than the NRL.King-Eliagh wrote:TLPG wrote:There is only one genuine basketcase - Melbourne.

Ah you havent responded to my reasoning that of course basketcases can win several games when there's 7 basketcases in the league...?Xman wrote:LOL No I didnt! As for you claiming a team who wins one game in three is a basket casse this just proves how irrelevant your opinion is. If we apply your logic to the RL WC that is by far the most lopsided tournament in world sport!![]()

So on your logic the NRL could have even more basket case sides. They just happen to win against the sides below them.King-Eliagh wrote:Ah you havent responded to my reasoning that of course basketcases can win several games when there's 7 basketcases in the league...?Xman wrote:LOL No I didnt! So one of the fancied sides is two games out of the semi's. In NRL the favourites at the start of the year are coming 3rd last (NZ), 4th and the other is unlikely to make the semi's west/t unless luck goes the way. Unlike the AFL where the top 8 was decide last week, we have still have 12 side with luck on their side that have a chance to make the top 8 and have so for the last 3-4 weeks, so the AFL boys can make up all the excuse they like. AFL, needs a second division to support the big split in the sides and they would not be able to support it, so go back to the VFL I say. This will go on for the next couple of years, and if crowds keep going down by 10% per year/ what are the AFL clowns going to have then to go on about.Striker wrote:Well, El, one of your basketcases did beat a fancied side on the weekend. GCS topped Carlton. Even I couldn't believe that! Then again maybe it was a fluke.
Striker wrote:No, Wests won't make it unless they can upset the Storm! And they won't! Besides, the Broncos won't lose to Penrith so it's a moot point.
