An inside mid will never score high on dreamteam? Well again I think you and Xman need to chat as he would disagree and he puts himself up there as the know it all of AFL. Personally i tend to believe you somewhat more but I can only go on what i've seen which is about four games where khunt had little to no influence. He rarely gets his hand on the ball which an inside mid should and his disposals are generally poor which for an inside mid is not on. You can have all the "time and vision" in the world, this to me is still very substandard. And to continue throwing money at him simply because he comes from another code and has promo value is just one big joke on the fans and on the code itself.

How often have you watched this hyped up promo bunney play pookus?
Nearly every game my friend.your gonna make me do this so I will.Firstly as an inside mid he does have to get his hands on it more I said this but this comes with fitness. He's be lucky to be doing 60% game time which is about par for second year players. His possesions are clean and hes able to find time in tight spots. What he does better than any 20 gamer in the system is creates space and pressure around the ball so guys like gaz can do there stuff unhindered. He has time and vision things that can't be under rated and no doubt he brings presence. His tackling is excellent he just needs to learn to get himself to dangerous spots which he did last week.Any club would be happy to have a 20 gamer with his type of impact around the ball. The fact that he is able to jump multiple codes is a great story and a credit to the man and his courage.Long after all the jealous little trolls are gone people will remember what a fine specimen this man is and the AFL would be rapt that they got to play a part in his journey.

Well if you've caught nearly every game i'll take your word for it then. You would prob know a bit more about the game than myself too as i've only really been into it since 2000 and even then not every season.

But i'll be watching him in the next game i get a chance to catch and reporting back pookus. Cause im still very worried folk like you and cos have been severely brainwashed and hypnotised by the ridiculous marketing ploy and overemphasis on his talents put on by those employed within the AFL and the media supporting the AFL. Yes you and cos have all the symptoms. :?

The problem is king you want to judge him on his pay packet not what he's achieved. The story is K and the fact that he can dedicate himself enough to anything to do anything. A great coup for AFL and a story to use when motivating our youth in any circumstance. The AFL clearly invested in a winner when they invested in Karmichael Hunt. He is a worthy role model.

I personally think he's a golddigger. He committed himself only once the 7 figure sums started rolling in. Did it with Rugby in France also. And if the AFL dont continue paying him for promo dollars well after his most valuable promo period (i.e. his first season) is over I fear ol khunt will pissorf to greener pastures. Ohwell i guess the AFL has the dosh right?

Such an ugly point of view.By all reports from both sides of the fence say he is a quality young man.Put your jealousy away and marvel at an amazing sportsman .And if he does move on I'll wish him the best.He has been only good for AFL

If he was a "quality young man" why didnt he take marngrook seriously and suck up the $$$ in france playing Rugby instead of playing out a full season in the first grade AFL comps prior to playing in the AFL?

You find me one quote anywhere that says bad things about the character of Hunt.Being well paid is a by product of his athleticism not the reason. You truly sound like a envious wronged man King. Is he meant to pledge eternal loyalty to a game that is pretty much devoid of this premise.Threes no loyalty in league ask luke lewis

KE might be worth looking at this a different way, these guys are ever going to think it is anything but great. They continue to suggest how skillful there game is, yet now they are sprooking that KMH is the greatest thing since slice bread and he is a league player. It took him less then 2 years to be regarded by these guys as one of their stars. He was a third string Australian fullback in our code.

Pretty ridiculous really, when you consider one of the main parts of their game is to kick the ball and catch it. The catching side he had down pat, but the kicking side is something he rarely done playing league, I go back to what I always say. Mum and dad think you are great when you kick and catch a ball when you are 5, not a grown man. It really aint that hard. Well done AFL boy for backing KMH and suggesting that it is very easy to play AFL at the highes level.

Bs

No one is suggesting he's an AFL great. He just brings some unique skills. He definnately isn't even close to an AFL star but he has adapted to be a useful player.

And yes, ARs requires far better ball handling skills than RL.
King-Eliagh: ...I believe [RL] is popular in all the other states and territories, bar tasmania.

K Hunt has improved a lot over 2 years. At the moment he is still an average player, however given his improvement he could be an excellent player in a couple of years time.

The fact that you are on here talking about K just shows what a canny move it was. He gives oxygen where there once was none.

Khunty boy has slipped down in the ratings of late. Not so sure about his improvement, I'll wait for Xmans response to his slide from 16-24. It should be mildy creative and amusing.

Some might think this way and partially they're right. But I laugh at this project, this experiment, especially since the golddigger got another 3 million. I'm sure many others are the same. So to me this turns people away from being members of the club etc.
