Re: GWS Lions
Saw quite a few of the boys at the banner making session last night, and they are primed and focused.
So, thanks to Virgin Airlines, I'll be winging it up to the Gabba tomorrow to continue our dosing of the AFL with health giving, excitement generating, thrill making Vitamen G on Sunday.
(A quiet word is that not a few fans of another more coastal adjacent Queensland footy team will also be coming along in order to build up the critical mass of the citrus sea, so Brisbane might be getting a first hand example of why orange is the new orange.) (Because seriously who really gives a stuff about black anymore!)
So, being totally unbiased as I am: GWS to win it for Lukey, and Sauce Phillips to get our 4th Rising Star nomination.
(BTW: a question from last night - how many team banners this week were built with the assistance of three first team players, while another three spent two hours minding the kids of cheer squad members working on any given piece of crepe? =D> )
