Dude nrl is the most uneven, reactive fixture I have ever seen!

Gallop n co wait for our fixtures (AFL) then realase theres targeting there biggest games to impact on the nsw/qld AFL sides (paranoid much nrl?)

the AFL sets its own agenda and runs its own race, that is why its number 1

australias game
Coming from a self confessed bogan

I'm sorry milznjim but one who confesses to being a bogan might as well say "hey y'all, im a dumb hick who dont know nuttin about much =P~ "

As you informed me in another post, STAY ON TOPIC, this topic is about the number one code! being a bogan doesn't make you dumb (just that you smoke winne red have13 pairs of thongs, were stubbie shorts drink vb and only wear blue wife beaters  ) and I know you are an expert on all things (read many of your posts, they make great bed time stories for my daughter) so you can do far better then provide a previous qoute of mine to disprove my views on your codes uneven agenda surely?

bedtime stories for your daughter!

Anyway you suggested the NRL is an uneven fixture in comparison to the AFL comp. That is complete and utter bollocks right now. The results speak for themselves as do the allegations that tanking is rife in the AFL. So bogan boy, i think you could do much better than this and i suggest you do a tad of research before posting your smelly urine over this board again.

Ah you cite Gallop making moves dependent on the AFL fixtures. Ahhh the GWS tsunami/war of the west was instigated by the AFL reacting to RL's dominance in this huges city. The AFL have thus far failed to reach their lofty expectations and are now making statments like RL is embedded and we have to take baby steps. Reactive much?

Good point KE, the arrogance of the GWS the administration has hurt this team, The backlash against GWS in western Sydney has been huge and its mainly to do with that arrogant fool Sheedy. If Sheedy never came to GWS they would have been in a better position then they are currently with the locals.

Then Demetrioa has a interview with a week later and calls a truce blahblahbah, backdown is not even worthy to describe the AFL's change of attitude in western Sydney.

AFL wanted AFL games in Sydney every week.
It's probably rl's weak position in WS that lead them to put a team in there.
Looks like the FFA have the same reasoning with a new Sydney AL team announced.

The GWS was attended by a crowd of 38k - a smashing success.
Wasn't the ratings for this game something like 1.3 million.

AFL - more teams, more coverage, more crowds, more ratings, more interest, media attention and the Australian game.
Nice try Cos.

Cos you lil spin doctor you. Always slanting away from what someone said. I said the 'war of the west' was instigated as a reaction. Not the placement of GWS as you suddenly infer.

And the AFL were expecting to sellout the venue but could only less than half fill it. Thats not a success cos lettuce [-X

Read the words on the page from now on rather than regurgitating the propaganda in your lil brain cos lettuce :)

Time will tell whether the GWS are successful or not, but the AFL are expecting a long haul and have the funds to support them for many years. If, like the storm, they are still playing infront of 11k, when on top of the ladder and after 5 GF appearances in 14years, some may consider them a failure.

LOL funny but remember you cant compare nrl crowds Xman. It's been proven time and time again that RL is a better tv viewing sport than the AFL comp is. The storm have much support and are a success. I know a bunch of AFL comp fans who chose to go to the storm match last weekend above the hawthorn collingwood matchup, which i was asking them to go to. Quite a strong mark of their success right there. :)
